Recent Corporate Announcement

Mount Ridley Mines Ltd has reported that its Selectro™ leach process achieved a 95 % recovery of gallium from a composite bauxite sample supplied by Australian Silica Quartz Group. The same leach recovered > 90 % of aluminium and iron. The process leaves a silica‑rich residue, avoiding the formation of conventional red mud. Mount Ridley highlighted that Selectro™ offers a cleaner and more efficient route to critical minerals compared with the Bayer process, which captures approximately 70 % of gallium. The company will focus on separating and purifying gallium from the leach solution and will test the technology with additional feedstocks.
