Corporate Update
Polish satellite manufacturer Creotech Instruments has announced a plan to increase production capacity by up to ten‑fold by 2029. The company’s CEO, Grzegorz Brona, noted that although Creotech avoids incorporating American technology to circumvent export restrictions, it still relies on U.S. launch vehicles to deploy its satellites. Brona cautioned that U.S. launch vehicles could become a political lever, particularly under the current administration.
Creotech’s strategy includes bidding for upcoming European satellite constellations and establishing new manufacturing facilities in France and Germany. The company aims to develop 500‑kg satellites by the early 2030s. Revenue for the next fiscal year is already secured, with additional contracts expected in the near term.
